Evan woke up rather grouchy this morning. I said to Mark, “Please pray for a change in his attitude this morning. I don’t want to take him to school again like this.” Not long after, I heard Mark yelling from upstairs for me to come up. I came up to find Evan smiling from ear to ear holding….his central incisor (for those of you who don’t have to google names of teeth for your children, this was his front lower tooth that was blogged about a few days ago!). Evan had been brushing his teeth when he asked Mark, “what’s that?” Laying on the toilet seat was his tooth! It fell out during brushing with NO blood! Evan was so excited! He put it in super tooth (the boy version of a tooth fairy doll) and couldn’t wait to show everybody at school today! I said to him, “you know what this means? You are getting big.” He said, “It’s like a warning that I’m growing up.” :) Who knew that our answer to prayer would be Evan’s first lost tooth. No tears today at drop off.

Wow that’s great…..no tears for the tooth or for school?!? One of my clients works in the office at Barkley and said a first grader was in the nurse’s office today and had lost his tooth. I asked if it was Evan, but that wasn’t his name.
