to sit on Santa’s lap for the first time. Here’s my dad on Santa’s lap. Dad, hope you get what you want for Christmas this year! And, here’s Drew and Ash too. Evan liked seeing Santa but did not want to sit on him for a picture…I can’t blame him. :)
Saw this in my Grove City College magazine and loved it. The picture is of Rainbow Bridge on campus, where I remember standing with Mark and talking about how many children we wanted and growing old together.
The C. S. Lewis quote says:
Christianity is a world that is a great sculptor’s shop. We are the statues and there’s a rumor going around the shop that some of us are some day going to come to life.
I am thankful today of that hope.
My new blog! I love the way the design turned out (thanks to awesome designer Rebecca Miller for working with me on this!). And, I’m excited about entering a new phase of journaling/communication with people. I have so enjoyed reading other families’ blogs, particularly those who have adopted. So, I had to do it myself. So, here it is. Hope I can keep up with it.
