New Holland Coffee for The Sparrow Fund {Giveaway}

5.28.13

Wanna hear something cool? When small businesses have such a community that they rally behind the causes that make their community’s heart beat faster. That’s what we’ve got here.

Sara Kauffman of New Holland Coffee Company had never really been exposed to adoption before. With friends of NHCC now bringing home twins from the DRC and other friends fostering to adopt, she’s been learning about all that goes into adopting and parenting children who have been adopted.

When The Sparrow Fund hosted Together Called for married couples this past February, Sara shared New Holland beans with us as we sought to give these couples the red carpet treatment. And, this month, Sara became a sponsor of our effort to Build the Nest this May to get us a head start so that we can continue to serve adoptive families.

To help us drive some traffic over and raise awareness of the Build the Nest fundraiser going on this month, Sara’s offered to giveaway 2 lbs. of New Holland Coffee Company’s fresh roasted coffee. And, believe me, you want to win every. last. bean. in. each. pound. (I speak from experience, can you tell?)

So, go ahead. It’s an easy entry, but take a little more time to go check out all the partners’ sites. (If you leave a comment naming just one thing you have ordered/purchased from one of them this month, you get an extra 10 entries for any of the giveaways going on right now…and there are quite a few!)

Color Created Family for The Sparrow Fund {Giveaway}

5.24.13

As Krystle‘s family seeks to add to their family via a little one from Hong Kong, she’s using her needles to create and make some money little by little to chip away at the costs associated with adoption (check out her store Color Created Family). She’s creating some pretty sweet things.

I’m so digging that orange pair so had to make that one a bit bigger so one of you would buy it before I do!

Krystle’s one of the 50+ business partners committed to giving 10% of their total sales this May to support adoptive families. And, she giving away a little ear candy here just so that we can drive some traffic over and raise awareness of the Build the Nest fundraiser going on this month to benefit The Sparrow Fund’s work to support adoptive families. That’s what all these giveaways are really all about.

Enter to win these beautiful green crochet earrings. And, go check out all the partners’ sites. (If you leave a comment naming just one thing you have ordered/purchased from one of them this month, you get an extra 10 entries for any of the giveaways going on right now…and there are quite a few!)

d.six for the sparrow fund {giveaway}

5.24.13

You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates. Deuteronomy 6:5-9

That’s what’s driving d.six and what it was named for.

Using color, pattern, and design, Mallory creates prints or art on aluminum edged mounts that allow you to do just that—hang God’s word on the doorposts of your house and on your gates…or on your walls which works too.

Mallory and her family are excited about adoption, keeping a close watch on Vietnam to open again to international adoption. It is from there that they feel called to bring a daughter home, a country closed to adoption since 2008. But, they are steadfastly waiting and using this small business to set aside the funds they will need when God says, “Go.”

Mallory has joined with the 50+ business partners committed to giving 10% of their total sales this May to support adoptive families even though she is fundraising herself. And, she giving away something special here and so that we can drive some traffic over and raise awareness of the Build the Nest fundraiser going on this month to benefit The Sparrow Fund’s work to support adoptive families.

Winner can choose any print to have mounted on a sleek, modern 3/4″ standout board with brushed aluminum edges. Not only are the aluminum edges sleek and modern, the mount makes the print ready to hang as is with pre-drilled holes in the back.

Enter to win the design of your choice. And, go check out all the partners’ sites. (If you leave a comment naming just one thing you have ordered/purchased from one of them this month, you get an extra 10 entries for any of the giveaways going on right now…and there are quite a few!)

Hello

I overthink everything. This blog is a prime example. Make yourself a cup of coffee and sit down for a read. Actually, make that a pot of coffee. There’s a lot of overthinking here.
