YAY!

7.1.11

When we weren’t doing this today

(checking out the mummies at the special exhibit at the Franklin Institute…a little bit of wow and a little bit of ewwww)
We were doing this…
and a few of these…

(albeit poorly)

Because I got a pretty fun email saying I had won a little competition of sorts that I had entered  sponsored by The Digital Mom Handbook and Intel. And, the prize is a pretty saweeet one.

(hence the cartwheels and somersaults)
The kids have been asking all day when their new computer is arriving. I proceeded to show them this website and make sure they saw that their mother had won it. That didn’t seem to matter to them. Such is life as a digital mom, I guess.
Off to do some more cartwheels and maybe some cannonballs as we head out to swim now (without any technology with me)…
Yay!

Drew’s song

6.30.11

Keep it up.
We have your sun.
We play outside,
even in the moon
and in the sunshine
because of you, Jesus.
Oh, yeah.
(You think that’s cute? You should hear it to music. Melts a mommy’s heart.)

Hello

I overthink everything. This blog is a prime example. Make yourself a cup of coffee and sit down for a read. Actually, make that a pot of coffee. There’s a lot of overthinking here.
