One of the reasons why the answer is absolutely not.

And, we’re loving it. So nice to have ‘rents with a condo at the beach. We’re blessed!

Agency reps in China

8.11.09

Our social worker from our agency has the privilege to travel to China with a group of families picking up their babies. They leave tomorrow. I found out today that her request to visit the CCAA was granted! This is a real privilege since they do not allow many visitors to their office. She and another staff member from our agency will be there on Thursday. I’m pretty excited about that opportunity for them. Looking forward to hearing all about it!

Special Sunday

8.10.09

Isn’t he a real cutie? Look at that sweet smile. Colin James, our godchild, was dedicated at church yesterday! And, Mark got to do it since he is now an elder. Mark explained what an infant dedication is and is not and what being godparents means. He did a really nice job explaining that as some people don’t quite “get” what a dedication is. It was a real privilege to be a part of the dedication and a real honor to be his godparents. What a pleasure it will be to watch him grow and hold his parents’ accountable to raising him in a godly home. We take the job very seriously! And, the icing on the cake was that I sang in church! Yup, haven’t done that in SO long since I’ve had so many issues with my voice. But, I did it!

I have to say that I’m seriously rethinking my hair seeing this picture for the first time as I uploaded it for the blog…I have a serious stripe going on there. Oh well, Colin doesn’t mind.

Hello

I overthink everything. This blog is a prime example. Make yourself a cup of coffee and sit down for a read. Actually, make that a pot of coffee. There’s a lot of overthinking here.
