When we were in Xi’an, on the day we visited Lydia’s orphanage, we got to see her take her first steps. In fact, we were skyping with my sister Erin and her husband Brian at the time. So, they got to see them too!
Since then, she’s gotten pretty darn sure of herself on her feet. She is walking everywhere now. And, of course, everybody thinks she is a genius baby since she looks a lot younger than she is. I took this video on Sunday–Note: it was 90 degrees for some strange reason. I don’t typically let my children roam around in only a diaper. But, that day called for it.

Love it Kelly! So precious! Can you not get enough video of her? Goodness! The almost 3 year wait and all the trial dissolve in a puddle when you spend every moment of every day with the amazing, beautiful little girl! I wish everyone could feel what you feel (we feel)–I’ve said it before, “then there would be no orphans” and what amazing world we’d have. :)

Oh my goodness Kelly! Could those videos be any cuter??? Love the music you added to the 2nd one too. She is so little, I bet people are just amazed when she walks out in public. So nice that you could capture her first steps.
