Thursday’s Things to Pray For

9.16.10

  1. Praise for a great report for Lydia this morning with the adoption specialists at CHOP! Lydia is growing and developing wonderfully–we thought this was so, but it was fun to have them confirm it.
  2. Pray for the details to be worked out so that we can schedule Lydia’s procedure to get tubes in her ears. And, pray that the tubes would restore her hearing.
  3. Pray for me personally — I’ve found the schedule this week particularly grueling (Lydia has appointments 4 out of the 5 mornings this week). I feel like I’m constantly behind. Pray that I could prioritize and give myself grace and be granted grace as things have to wait or get missed.

Click here to learn more about Thursday’s Things to Pray For. Pray for me, for these things I list. And, leave me a comment to let me know you did if you don’t mind. It would be a great encouragement. And, I invite you to do the same on your blog.

We are glad CHOP gave an A+ to Lydia.

We are scheduling are first apt. with them for when we get home. They also have a clinic for our DD SN, we are so glad they are close!

I laughed at your earlier post about the tubes in her ears. Laughed, only because I remember how hard it was to put our boys ‘under’.

They do give them this wonderful stuff that makes them very silly and entertaining before going to the OR – and it really helps the Moms!

Off to do my TTPF … first post all week, which tells you how our schedule is going.

Praying for Lydia, and all your family. Especially praying for you Kelly. the mom that works so very hard everyday to (try) to keep everything sane.

I’m going to focus my prayers on you…that you feel God strengthening you for these busy days and weeks and that He clearly gives you peace for Lydia’s upcoming surgery.

Well, Kelly, I’m a day late and a dollar short on the “Thursday” post. Sorry, I’m seem to be a bit behind too. So glad Miss Lydia is doing well. Jake doesn’t have another appointment until after his Oct. surgery. I’m just wondering how much taller he’s grown!

Praying for you Kelly and all of the details that need to be worked out for Lydia’s surgery.

Hi Kelly, thanks for leaving me a comment on our blog! My son had tubes twice and did very well. I think harder on Momma than him!! His hearing improved so much–instantly! He heard certain sounds for the first time! I will pray for Lydia and her recovery!

Totally relate with the scheduling prayer request. It is so hard to keep on top of everything–but at the end of day with everyone happy (for the most part) and healthy–I think I am doing just fine!! Remember God’s grace is new every morning, before we fall behind!!

Hello

I overthink everything. This blog is a prime example. Make yourself a cup of coffee and sit down for a read. Actually, make that a pot of coffee. There’s a lot of overthinking here.
