Day 2 {friends}

10.25.16

There are little words I could muster to communicate the level of respect I have for this man.

He raised my daughter before she was mine. And, now, nearly 7 years after he dressed her in puffy new clothes and said goodbye to her, he raised his glass to me and said “Welcome home.”

I only cried once with him; what did he expect when he gave me something special to bring to his Chen Mei Yue.

And, now, here I sit. Marveling at the Father’s work and how I got invited into it.

    A good, good man.

Hello

I overthink everything. This blog is a prime example. Make yourself a cup of coffee and sit down for a read. Actually, make that a pot of coffee. There’s a lot of overthinking here.
