You in the Word for The Sparrow Fund {Giveaway}

5.22.13

You in the Word. Personalized love letters from the heart of God’s Word uniquely created by literary artist, Colleen Marquez, author of the beautiful adoption book A Gift for Little Tree.

You provide the name. She provides the words made into art, prayerfully weaving names through Scripture to create art. Each piece is 11” x 14” and comes ready to present and hang. Here’s one example…

And, here’s my favorite one—it’s a new design based on the illustrations from her new book. Simply beautiful.

Colleen’s You in the Word is one of the 50+ businesses giving 10% of their total sales this May to support adoptive families. And, she has generously offered to give away one custom piece here (worth $75) so that we can drive some traffic over here and raise awareness of the Build the Nest fundraiser going on this month to benefit The Sparrow Fund’s work to support adoptive families.

Go ahead and enter to win this custom piece! And, go check out all the partners’ sites. (If you leave a comment naming just one thing you have ordered/purchased from one of them this month, you get an extra 10 entries for any of the giveaways going on right now…and there are quite a few!)

    The “Wyatt” one shown on your page is my son’s!

    If I were to get another one I love the Vintage Lace, maybe with the word “marriage” or something.

    It would be Audrey in Rasberry & Cream. But I would totally want to get Bohdan and Thatcher too.

    HOW TO CHOOSE?!

    I would likely order one for our family name. And do it in browns and ivories for our dining room. Or maybe red and black for our family room.

    I’m mighty tempted to order one for each of my 3 girls but we’re still working on a budget since we’ve only been home a month from China. And the bathroom is leaking into the kitchen {again} :(

    We so want to get one of these for my in-laws (and a lot of other dear family and friends!). I contacted her and she said she can do surnames!

Hello

I overthink everything. This blog is a prime example. Make yourself a cup of coffee and sit down for a read. Actually, make that a pot of coffee. There’s a lot of overthinking here.
