I’m done for

5.21.12

When she came downstairs yesterday when she should have been napping, I thought one of the big kids had gotten her out.

When she came in my bed at 6:15 this morning when everyone else was sleeping, I knew I was done for.

Wonderful.

LOL! LOL! LOL! LOL! LOL! LOL!

OF COURSE this happened while Mark is in China! Oh good gracious Kelly, I just want to eat her up! Time for a toddler bed for that precious girl!

Of course the week your husband is gone she achieves this milestone … that could rearrange your world a bit. Our youngest achieved that milestone the week I was suffering from acute Lyme Disease and I felt like I was dying. Not good timing)
She does look very careful while scaling her way out though I will say that! :-)

Honestly, Lydia is such a busy little monkey that it surprises me that this is the first she has attempted this! But at least she is quite agile in her climb down!! ;) We put Chloe in a toddler bed about a month ago and it hasn’t been so bad…just had to lay down a few ground rules. :) So far, so good.

Time to pick up a crib tent! Brynn is 2 1/2 & we hope to keep her in her crib as long as possible! Many of her little friends already have crib tents & they work great! Brynn has not yet climbed out. She climbs in, but not out….

    Good Luck!

Oh yeah! Purely out of emotional attachment to the crib (mine, not Grant’s), I allowed him to just put himself into and out of the crib like that for some time. That is, until I went out one day, and came back to find Eric had replaced the crib with a big full size bed for him! :-( LOL

Favorite part? “I did it!” She was so darn proud!!

Hello

I overthink everything. This blog is a prime example. Make yourself a cup of coffee and sit down for a read. Actually, make that a pot of coffee. There’s a lot of overthinking here.
