That’s our godson Caleb. Isn’t he just precious?
I would love to just snuggle him up and tickle those cheekers.
But, he lives in Beijing. 

Here he is with his mom Helen and his dad Frank to his left. 
And, those white people? They’re my parents. They get to see him quite a bit. 
Helen and Frank haven’t met their goddaughter either. 
But, we’re hopeful to have those godbabies together one day. 
For now, Helen and I are content to work together with Jiayin Designs with the purpose of providing families with treasures to celebrate Chinese culture or their child’s heritage while employing Chinese artisans and providing some extra income for Frank and Helen to do what they are called to do. ‘Nuff said.
We sell these dolls handmade by a sweet young girl in ZhuZhou City in Hunan Province. And, we just added a 4th color — purple. Only have a few of them, and they aren’t even listed on the site yet. So, let me know soon if she’s yours. 
And, we’re giving away something special.
Our most popular item, the one that led us to start Jiayin Designs to begin with…
It’s hand cut from sterling silver and made totally custom by a jeweler in Beijing just. for. you. 
You can choose any name or word and either enclosed in a rectangle or circle frame or freestyle.

  1. I don’t think I can choose just “1” favorite item. The custom charms are so unique…the thought of having my daughter’s name, when I go to China or her province, Shaanxi, would be so unbelievably special. But the Niu Niu dolls are so beautiful and so “one of a kind”; I think I if I could…I would have one of each. Maybe I will add it to my Xmas list and Isabella’s Xmas list!!

  11. I LOVE Jiayin necklaces and wear my double name charm necklace daily. I get so many questions and then compliments on it — and it’s a hoot to see Kindergarteners be able to recognize my daughter’s name on the charm, but get stumped by the 2nd name (her little sister’s).

    If I won, I think I’d get a simple “mother” necklace. There’s nothing simple about beint a mother, but it is a title I wear with pride!

  20. I love all the Jialin creations. The Owl purses, the dolls, goodness, I could fill a Santa bag! To choose just one, I would select the custom name charm. So unique, lovely and the most special aspect of it is that it represents so much!

  28. I love all the Jiayin items so much I already have many of them. The charm pendant of my daughter’s name is my absolute favorite. If I won, I would have to give it to a friend or my mom.
