Getting over my honondasdontiaphobia

3.24.11

It’s a real word. Promise. Google it if you don’t believe me.

When it comes to loose teeth, I typically respond just like Drew did tonight.

But, you know what? I’ve got 4 kids. I need to get over it. Corporately, they will lose 80 teeth–make that 81 if you count Evan’s extra tooth.

And, today in particular, I had a lot on my plate. And, I just didn’t want to hear any more complaining about not being able to eat because of that loose tooth. I was just a wee bit shorter about everything today.

She let me at her with a napkin. And, that was it.

Mind you, the thing was literally dangling and so begging for someone to put it out of its misery. There was only a few drops of blood.

But, you know what? I did it. I pulled the darn thing out. And, frankly, I think I may be deserving of something under my pillow from the tooth fairy tonight just because.

….81 teeth…

It doesn’t bother me so much to pull them out, but seeing dangling teeth gives me the shivers!

You do deserve something for dealing with all those teeth! Oh my! There is something woosy about wobbly teeth isn’t there! And hey, if you aren’t using that extra tooth, send it our way … Nolan is missing one in his set. Go figure!

Hello

I overthink everything. This blog is a prime example. Make yourself a cup of coffee and sit down for a read. Actually, make that a pot of coffee. There’s a lot of overthinking here.
