- Lydia is scheduled for her ear tubes on Monday at 7:30am. We’ll be leaving the house at 6:15am. Pray for all to go well logistically (waking her up and getting her there on an empty belly). And, pray for the procedure to be successful and for her hearing to be restored.
- Lots going on this weekend. My sister and her husband and 3 kids are coming up tomorrow as our my mom and dad (who wisely decided to get a hotel room. Guess the thought of 7 kids and 6 adults sharing 1 and 1/2 bathrooms just scared them away. I don’t blame ’em. I think I may ask for the room myself.) Pray for the visit to be a fun one with low stress!
- Pray for me personally — again, for peace and rest and for endurance to do what the Lord has called me to do and let go of the things He has not called me to do.

It would be a great encouragement. And, I invite you to do the same on your blog–haven’t had too many takers on this in weeks past. But, I still feel compelled to invite you to.

We are on the same schedule .. just after the kids are in bed, I can relax on the computer.
We pray you have a great weekend, and your life feels balanced.
Our Bible Study has been reminding us to say ‘Christ Reveal Yourself to Me’ – which has been great. It has helped me focus on looking for Christ in the every day, and to focus less, at least a little bit, on things I should not.

Monday is coming and I pray that you feel His peace and assurance as you get closer to the appointment. May God work through the surgeon’s hands to restore Lydia’s hearing.
i am praying , praying , praying for surgery, and for you. you are always in my thoughts.
I pray that the ear tube procedure is a success! The great thing about that procedure (if there IS a great thing….) is that it’s quick. For me, that was such a relief. My son, Austin, had tubes for years. It was the fix that he needed! I will be thinking about you guys on Monday!!
