Sunday Snapshot: Living Hope at Great Wolf

8.9.10

2 hours in the car to take the kids to the Living Hope Adoption Agency reunion here for the weekend.
Do I need to tell you it was a hit?
The kids saw this through a window in the lobby and started jumping around.
Evan said, “This is the best day ever!”
Really? Ever? He tends to speak in extremes.
These tubes essentially became our home for the weekend.

The kids named this one “the soaker” which was better than their name for their other favorite–“the toilet bowl.” I confess, it did fit the bill.
But, Lydia didn’t get to play in this one.
But, she sure did like this one.
Too tired from too many water slides to report much more.
You know how after you go roller skating, you still sorta feel like you are roller skating? That’s how I feel right now but about water slides.
We’re all going to sleep well tonight.

Looks like a blast. They have one in Dallas that we have talked about trying. It looks like that may have to make the list.

Looks like so much fun! We had one within 2 hours of us, but never made it. I wish we had now. But don’t tell Blair, I would never live it down. :)

My favorite thing was watching your little one’s face go down the slides over and over. Her expressions were PRICELESS and adorable!

So sorry we didn’t have more chance to connect in person… We’ll have to do that sooner than later.

WOW- that place looks AWESOME!!!!!! Is it two hours closer to me or farther away?? :) I’m thinkin’ I need to find a place like that for the kids! Sawyer would WHOLEheartedly agree with Evan’s take on it, I’m SURE!!!!

Hello

I overthink everything. This blog is a prime example. Make yourself a cup of coffee and sit down for a read. Actually, make that a pot of coffee. There’s a lot of overthinking here.
