Dreams Come True

7.3.10

Funland in Rehoboth Beach — a step back in time where you can still ride a little boat ride for $.30. It’s tradition to go there each year on family vacation. I can very clearly remember watching the kids on these rides last year — here’s a couple pictures I just found of last year —

They’ve really grown up. I can remember standing beside the Merry Go Round last year. We saw a family with a toddler who looked like she may have been from China. Every one of us noticed her (all 5 of us, my sisters, and my parents). We smiled at the family. We watched our kids go on the ride and I said to Mark, “Do you think we’ll have Lydia here next year?” We were so frustrated at that point; sometimes I doubted it would ever happen. “I don’t know, Kelly. Probably not.” “Maybe we will, Honey.” Well, here we are. And, here she is. Dreams come true.

(And, dreams came true for Evan too since he finally got the nerve up
to go on the Haunted Mansion ride.)

These pictures remind me of being in Myrtle Beach with all my siblings and cousins. We grew up going there every single year! The memories…amazing.

Look at Lydia! She looks SO good. She is filling out. I think all of your kids are just so precious.

    Happy 4th!

What a fun vacation! I went to Rehobeth Beach when I visited a Philly friend in high school. Looks like everyone is feeling better and having a blast!

Tear of Joy in my eyes for you and your entire family, your beautiful kids, your parents, you and Mark and of course Lydia! These moments are so precious and a reminder to us all that just when you think your dream might be dashed–He comes through with His promis, His plan and it unfolds in a way you never, ever could imagine–HUGE, and SUCH an AMAZING blessing. God is so good.

She is grown so much Kelly! Wow! she’s not that TINY fragile little thing you brought home. Your love is exactly what she needed and it’s clear her love is exactly what you all needed as well! Smiles and Giggles abound!

It looks like everyone is having fun.

Dreams do come true. It often seems like when ‘it’ may never happen it does! I am so glad you get to enjoy the beach with your entire family.

I had a similiar moment while watching E. splash away in the water during our yearly six flags adventure. So thankful for our little blessings!

Hello

I overthink everything. This blog is a prime example. Make yourself a cup of coffee and sit down for a read. Actually, make that a pot of coffee. There’s a lot of overthinking here.
