Wanna Cry?

6.10.10

Go to a kindergarten graduation ceremony. Gets me every time.

(For the record, it’s said like “Rod-enbush” not “Rau-denbush” as it is spelled.)

Drew and Lydia anxiously waiting for Ashlyn’s class to arrive on stage (and Lydia does in fact have keys in her mouth. They are her favorite toy…and pacifier). They lasted in these seats for…not even 2 seconds. As soon as Ashlyn walked onto stage, Drew went and sat on the floor up front. Seconds later, Lydia joined him. A few minutes later, I did too since those two can’t really be trusted (as you can tell from the video of the diploma hand-off).

kelly – I have been saying your name wrong…but now I know!

How sweet that Drew and Lydia wanted to be up front and in on the action!

Geez, I’ve been pronouncing your last name wrong for like, 2 years!
I didn’t cry till the last song. At least you’ll get to go to 2 more of these. Hope to see you over the summer!

My! Ashlyn looks like one grown up young lady! On to first grade!!! And, don’t worry Kelly, I cry at every kindergarten graduation (or any other grad for that matter)! I do the embarrassing cry at my own kids graduation though! Congrats, Ashlyn!

Congratulations Ashlyn! Wow, what a big class of kids. Are those little panda bears I see on Ashlyn’s dress? So cute!

Hello

I overthink everything. This blog is a prime example. Make yourself a cup of coffee and sit down for a read. Actually, make that a pot of coffee. There’s a lot of overthinking here.
