“This is the best school day that’s why I got homework.”

(note: “that’s why” means “because” – can’t seem to break that habit!)

mini-Mark (a.k.a. Drew) doing some of his own “homework.”
No child left behind.

CUTE! I love the “that’s why” in place of because. Some habits are too cute to break…they grow up fast enough!! ;) We were just reminiscing about some of the kids old ‘sayings’ and how we miss them now that they are all grown past those stages. Too cute. I’m sure Khloe will bring those joys to life around here once she is home though…I can’t wait!! Is your dad back yet?…did you see his photos?! Can’t wait to hear all about it!!

    Have a blessed week!! <><

That’s funny. Kaitlyn was excited to have homework too. She came home Monday and announced “Guess what Mommy! I have homework!” It wasn’t in her folder and she got really upset. I e-mailed the teacher about it and she said she was explaining to the children about the homework that she was sending home the next day. Kaitlyn was disappointed that she didn’t have it on Monday. She wanted to do 2 of them this morning before school. We’ll see how excited they are about it in a couple of months!

Isn’t it great when your kids LOVE school? That’s a huge blessing!

I can’t believe your dad was at New Day!!! WOW!!! So cool! Did he bring back great pictures? I’m with Tanya- Can’t wait to hear all about it!!

What a sweetheart!!! My son just groans at the word “school.” Actually suggested this year that I should write the president and ask him to change the laws! hmmm….a, no. ;o)

Hello

I overthink everything. This blog is a prime example. Make yourself a cup of coffee and sit down for a read. Actually, make that a pot of coffee. There’s a lot of overthinking here.
