How cute is all this? What a fun surprise I got in the mail today! My little sis in my sorority (yes, for those of you who didn’t know, I was in a sorority in college) sent me the sweetest ladybug package today! Look at all these goodies! She sent me the squares for my 100-wishes yo-yo-quilt and doll, adorable ladybug notes for the girls (and me!), and then other fun ladybug goodies–a spatula (Kerrie, where in the world did you find that? Too cute! I’m going to have to hide it from Ashlyn! She loved it!), little magnetic ladybug bookmarks (perfect for my adoption book club reading), and little ladybug buttons (hmmm….these might be a fun addition to the yo-yo quilt…). Kerrie, thanks so much for your thoughtfulness and for your ladybug hunting! What a great little I have…even after 13 years.

I love all the ladybug stuff! I have collected quite a bit over the last few years.

I don’t know what I enjoyed more, the amazing adorable things–where did she find those notepads–sweet little wings that unfold to reveal the notepad–clever and very creative OR the fact that this precious meaningful gift came to you from a very old–very special friend. That is truly special. Thanks for sharing this Kelly.

yes you should put the buttons on the quilt! So cute! What a good friend you have.

Hello

I overthink everything. This blog is a prime example. Make yourself a cup of coffee and sit down for a read. Actually, make that a pot of coffee. There’s a lot of overthinking here.
