Fenwick Island, DE for Memorial Day

5.27.08

Had a good weekend with the kids at my parent’s place in Fenwick. The weather was just perfect–sunny in the 70s. They loved playing on the beach and enjoying a “river” that the tide had created. It was sort of a “baby pool.” Evan particularly enjoyed collecting crabs in a bucket–which all subsequently died and were given to ducks (sorry to all the animal rightists). Ashlyn collected hundreds of seashells which she worked very hard back at the condo to wash and dry. And, Drew just used the shovel over and over, filling the bucket and dumping the bucket. Mark and I just liked getting away.

Looks like a fun time…I love getting away too! We leave for the beach in a few weeks~

Hello

I overthink everything. This blog is a prime example. Make yourself a cup of coffee and sit down for a read. Actually, make that a pot of coffee. There’s a lot of overthinking here.
